table magnifier lamp bracket pin breaks continually?

I keep replacing my table magnifier lamp because the bottom pin
on the lower bracket is light guage aluminum and bends from movement then breaks. Anyone got a "fix", a better way to mount
this lamp? I do not use an adjustable
do you have access to somewhere they can remake the part that breaks into something made of steel?you clearly have removed the ajustable part and strenghtened it now you have to change the pin to a steel one and modify it, otherwise you need to invest
